Glenbeigh invites family members and loved ones to attend weekly, in-person Family Programming on Sunday mornings. The Family Program sessions focus on exploring various topics that educate family on the disease of addiction and ways to support their loved one when they leave treatment. Sessions consist of lectures and small group exercises, which will provide group members the opportunity for education and support.
Registration is required to participate. Contact your loved one’s primary counselor by the Thursday prior to the Family Program. Each patient is allowed to have two family members maximum participate in the program. All Family Program participants must be at least 16 years of age or older with a valid ID.
The Family Program is a structured educational session that begins at 8:15 with registration in the Main Lobby. A family lecture begins at 9:00 AM, followed by a family psychoeducation group at 10:00 AM. Family members may enjoy lunch with their loved one in the dining hall starting at 11:30 AM. Lunch is available for purchase.
